LONG NIGHTS MOON:
According to folklore, tonight’s full moon is called the Long Nights Moon. The reason is obvious: December nights are long (in the northern hemisphere).
Tonight’s moon also happens to be the highest-soaring full moon in 18 years. As seen from most parts of the USA and Europe, it will be above the horizon for more than 15 hours–a long night indeed.

Something Every American Should See
This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas.
The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.
Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers
and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.
Do you know why we don’t hear about this in the news? Because it is heart warming and praise worthy. The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect that a flashed breast or controversy of politics does.

This money has been approved by the Department of Defense for receipt and is approved through the Department of Defense office of General Counsel Standards of Conduct office.
These tiny daisies are no bigger than your thumbnail. They are shown in their approximate real-size in the inset. These grow on a two foot high bush in the flowerbed out back.

I have a section of Marine F-18s circling like great white sharks above us ready to dive down and tear a holy shit ass into someone if needed. I’m thankful they are Marines up there, they will know how we fight and that could be the difference in tenths of seconds and again yes I’m very glad their fellow Marines. We get to our destination through a narrow empty alley. Its quiet and we quickly move past bullet ridden walls to our determined location. While conducting our business inside some of the men are outside establishing security and talking with Col Oliver North. Its weird seeing him in this shit hole but he is cool as hell and shoots the shit with they guys. He’s still a Marine and the men know it. You can’t bullshit the men they will smell a turd a mile away like the stench of other Marines who have strayed…
That last remark sounds like this Marine is making reference to a certain disingenuous ex-Marine turned congressman – Jack Murtha perhaps?

Arnold Schwarzenegger refused today to spare the life of Stanley Tookie Williams, the founder of the murderous Crips gang who awaited execution after midnight in a case that stirred debate over capital punishment and the possibility of redemption on death row.Schwarzenegger was not swayed by pleas from Hollywood stars and petitions from more than 50,000 people who said that Williams had made amends during more than two decades in prison by writing a memoir and a series of children’s books about the dangers of gangs.
