Whacko Politics

Malice Aforethought

Senator Hillary Clinton (Dingbat – NY), when appearing before a black audience on MLK day, sold out America in a divisive attempt to identify the Congress of the United States as a racist organization. My opinion is that Ms. Clinton is a manipulative and deceitful person, bent only on her personal success, with little regard for the black, or any other community. A closer look at the inner properties of such a person, may reveal the true nature of that person’s character.

This little tribute to her underlying character is dedicated to those who speak the truth about Ms. Clinton’s actual agenda: bloggers and responsible journalists.

Much Ado About Nothing

While Teddy Kennedy (elsewhere described as a category 5 windbag) whined about Judge Alito’s alleged affiliation with a Princeton University activist group, the record was being set straight that the Judge had little or nothing to do with the group.

From The Washington Times: Alito probe is a bust

A bipartisan group of Senate lawyers did not find any mention of Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr. in four boxes of materials from a Princeton alumni group Democrats have dubbed racist and misogynistic in confirmation hearings.

The search dealt a blow to some of the final Democratic opposition to Judge Alito, spearheaded by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat. He demanded the papers be subpoenaed from the Library of Congress before the hearings resumed this morning.

“Judge Alito’s name never appeared in any document,” said Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter, who secured access to the documents without a subpoena. Democrats have questioned Judge Alito’s commitment to civil rights and equality for women because he said he belonged to the Concerned Alumni of Princeton (CAP) on a 1985 job application.

This is just another example of how desperate Democrats and the left have become. Judge Alito should be through the worst of it by now, with a split party-line vote to take place shortly. Hopefully, the Democrats won’t be stupid enough to attempt a filibuster in the full Senate confirmation (or will they?).

Belafonte, Glover, West – Traitors

During WWII to consort with enemies of America was considered treason. Harry Belafonte, Danny Glover and Cornel West are no less treacherous since they openly support and cavort with socialist dictator Hugo Chavez who has declared himself an enemy of America, and is one of the four most dangerous men in the world.

From Fox News:

Belafonte Says Bush Is ‘Greatest Terrorist in the World,’ Praises Venezuelan Dictator

Sunday, January 08, 2006

CARACAS, Venezuela — The American singer and activist Harry Belafonte called President Bush “the greatest terrorist in the world” on Sunday and said millions of Americans support the socialist revolution of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez.

Belafonte led a delegation of Americans including the actor Danny Glover and the Princeton University scholar Cornel West that met the Venezuelan president for more than six hours late Saturday. Some in the group attended Chavez’s television and radio broadcast Sunday.

Read the entire Fox News article here.

I would think twice before becoming a member of the American Association of Retired People, who named Belafonte as Person of the Year.

I am inducting Celebridiots® Belafonte and Glover into Cap’n Bob and Damsel’s Star Whores Hall of Shame in recognition of their extreme ignorance and for endorsing a dictator who terrorizes and intimidates his own people and threatens the stability of the Americas.

Clooney Tunes

Damsel and I are inaugurating a new category to highlight entertainment icons who use their notoriety to promote left-wing ideology. We call this category “Star Whores.”

Today we recognize George Clooney for his hack at portraying the US government and the CIA as bad guys in the film “Syriana.” Clooney is either ill-informed or is part of the complex web of left-leaning organizations who seek to blame America for everything in an attempt to discredit the administration and freedom in general. I prefer to think of Clooney as stupid and not evil – but I could be wrong. Clooney has often been critical of the administration, as is his right, but when cross-examined, he shows a dearth of factual material to back his statements.

From the Monterey Herald:

George Clooney wants ‘Syriana’ to challenge its audience

George Clooney is opting for transparency when it comes to “Syriana,” opening Friday.

“It’s complicated, confusing even. And it’s political. I’m not trying to sidestep that. I’m pleased about it.”

Clooney, who plays a veteran – burned out, worn down, distrustful – CIA agent frustrated at the way the agency has become politicized, is also the film’s producer, along with Steven Soderbergh. “Syriana” was inspired in part by a book by former intelligence agent Robert Baer, a Mideast specialist who is the basis for Clooney’s character, Bob Barnes. But Stephen Gaghan, the Oscar-winning writer of “Traffic” who directed and wrote “Syriana,” says the movie is “pure imagination – based on fact.”

How’s this for transparency? I speculate that there is 90% imagination and 10% fact – maybe less – so thin, it’s nearly transparent. Clooney and Soderbergh have clearly done no research other than to present their own biased take on the book by Baer, who is probably a malcontent ex-CIA agent with an axe to grind (like Valerie Plame perhaps). Clooney seems to bias the film’s message against America in the hope that the audience will will be indoctrinated – not challenged.

And, of course, a payoff from the box office: George Clooney – Star Whore.

Mr. Weird Beard

Just who the hell does liberal media writer Neil Gabler think he’s fooling with the phony beard color? Is it a fashion statement to make his whiskers match his shirt? WTF?

Damsel and I were watching Fox Newswatch today and noticed that Gabler’s beard was reminiscent of the toy where a magnetic wand is used to position iron particles on a clown face enclosed in a transparent plastic bubble. We saw the same clown face without the bubble, and the same phony-looking iron-filing gray beard. Oh, and the shirt too – same color. Of course, Gabler may be competing for visual attention since he sits next to Cal Thomas, whose conservative opinions are often not heard because of Cal’s deafening shirt-tie combinations – but then, I digress . . .

Coincidentally, Gabler’s silly-looking beard is compatible with his ridiculous liberal viewpoints. And do you think it’s also a coincidence that Gabler resembles the world’s most famous clown?

Apologies to Emmett Kelly Jr. for any implied comparison.
