Labor Day marks the end of summer although in our area the temperatures will remain summer-like until late September or early October. We like to refer to this time as “Second Spring.”
About Labor Day:
Labor Day originated during the peak of the 19th-century Industrial Revolution. In 1894, President Grover Cleveland signed legislation making the first Monday in September a federal holiday.
