For tactical reasons, we’re unable to have this beautiful rib roast on Easter Sunday, so we prepared it a week early on Palm Sunday. My Mom’s 91st birthday is next week which requires a trip to California, and we can’t miss that. We had this great rib roast with garlic/cauliflower mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus and horseradish sauce. Yummers. 😀

So – how did it go at the job?
Spent a lot of time shaking hands, and catching up on things with old work-mates. Did a ton of paperwork, and getting settled in to my temp office. We’ll be moving the reconstituted group into better digs in a week or two, as soon as we have enough personnel to A) overflow the area we’re in, and B) to justify turning another building back on!
LOTS of work ahead, and few people to do it. I can see some loooong days ahead.
