I had a dental appointment in Santa Monica today. After we were finished there, we drove back to the house along the coast. The weather looks pretty in this picture, but it’s merely a brief reprise from more stormy weather to come again. The beach is mostly deserted in spite of the sunlight because the temperature was only a balmy 58°s;. Click on the image to enlarge.
Back when I lived in Illinois and came out here for work at this time of year, it was “Hit The BEACH!” time on the weekends.
58* sounds cool, but when you’ve just spent several months at less than 20*, it’s pretty balmy!
The people back in the office used to get really ticked off when I came back sunburned…..
This is the calm before the next storm. Sunburn happens!
