I cannot believe that I saw this billboard just a quarter mile from the acres and acres of these ugly wind generation machines. Where are the enviro-nuts when the viewing pleasure of those gorgeous snow capped mountains is being obstructed by these monstrosities? There are roughly twenty-five miles of these inefficient, expensive and eye-offensive whirling obscenities from Palm Springs, CA to Cabazon, CA along Interstate 10 in the Banning Pass between Mount San Jacinto and Mount San Gorgonio. Enviro-nuts are all about control, they were never about the environment. We have these eye-sores also and it does ruin the pristine views. Add to the plastic bag ban our county mis-representatives are trying to force down our throat. They end up destroying the environment, raising the cost of living, and reducing our standard of living.
You have these POS in Hawaii?. . .I’m disgusted. I totally agree.
What’s funny, well not funny ha ha, is it takes electricity to get those monsters turning. Also, during certain tempuratures they can’t be used, depending on wind conditions, they can’t be used. They DO NOT pay themselves off as people claim they do. We have a forest of them here in IL, drive by them and usually 60% of them are turned off!!
Amazing….
See what Kini said Hes correct it is about control.
