R. Lee Ermey - Therapist

Does a former drill Sargent make a TERRIBLE therapist? We just started seeing this commercial for Geico the past couple of days. It is just hilarious.

He’s a great guy. I’ve met him a few times at “Old Fort Macarthur Days”, and he’s one of the most humble people I’ve met.

We saw Ermey at the Phoenix NRA Convention last May. Didn’t get to talk to him because the autograph line was an hour long. We’re both big fans of Mail Call and Lock and Load.

We keep the DVD Full Metal Jacket just to watch the first part until his character gets killed off by that whack job. The rest of the flick sucked so we turn it off.

I’ve got the “Xtra Salty” R. Lee Ermey action figure, and the uncensored outakes of Mail Call DVD. Pretty hilarious stuff!

He made the first hour of Full Metal Jacket, after that, the movie was a snore.

Damsel has extra salty sitting on her computer desk. All the choice rants from FMJ crack us up. To quote Ermey, “It’s not a f***ing doll - it’s an action figure.”

Ermey sh*ts bigger than Matthew Modine.

Heh! We haven’t seen that one broadcast yet!
    Oh… we live in NY.
Never mind. The self-loathing, weeping, dipshit assholes will be marching in the streets with torches in one hand and bottles of Valium in the other over that ad.
