Strip Mall Quail
I saw these cute little quail scurrying across the parking lot in a strip mall where our real estate agent does business. I think that this is a pair of mates, male (front) and female on their way to forage or do other quail business. This species is called Gambel’s Quail.

Thanks guys. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster ride lately with my grandson and work. I come to friend’s sites to chill a little and regain perspective. The world is still truly full of wonder.

I grok the first three through modern science; but number four still throws me after 28 years of marriage. Even for quail.
