Pretty! I should take a picture of ours. I picked up red carnations 2 weeks ago at Wegman’s, and they must be mutant flowers. They are still alive with only a couple of losses! So yesterday we picked up some white ones and blue filler to make a holiday bouquet for tomorrow’s cookout.
That sounds really nice. Have a good one and stay safe!
That is just beautiful! We had a very busy day, and also a sad one here in our city of Tehachapi, CA.. I was in our Republican Woman’s Booth at our city park, and also later on in our Tehachapi Concert Choir which sang at our field before the fireworks. But in the middle of the day, our City’s Assistant Manager was killed in a plane crash. He was pilot in 1 of 3 smaller planes, and they crashed and both he and his co-pilot from Colorado were killed. I saw them fly over here at our company, while I was here, and all of a sudden there were only two planes. It hurts so bad to see families loose their loved ones, especially on a special day.
Other than that .. we had a gorgeous fireworks here in town. It lasted over 30 minutes, and was just beautiful!! I hope you all have a very blessed year! I love your site! Great duo!! My hubbie & I just celebrated our 40th, and we’re still young! lol!!! I was 17 when we got married. God Bless Our Wonderful People!!!
NomiAnn,
We’re very sorry about the terrible accident that brought sadness into an otherwise happy occasion. I read about the pilot’s heroic effort to avoid crashing into homes in the area. As a pilot and flight instructor, it is especially very sad for me. I have been to Tehachapi many times, both by air and land vehicle.
We appreciate that you like our site. In a few months, we will have a little more time to devote to it, since I am planning to retire after 27 years in aerospace and aviation.
