Those little beggars are greedy! We have squirrels that screech at each other and fight over the guava bushes and persimmons – and lemons. Why lemons?
Our landscape contractor advised me that this is not a chipmunk at all, but a desert ground squirrel. The stripes faked me out.
Hmmm – lemons? We have a lemon tree at our California house but we’ve never seen any of our squirrels going after anything but the bird feeders. Weird.
