That describes our trip across the Golden State today. We entered California in Blythe along Interstate 10 in cool, but bright sunshine weather, and arrived in our home town, Torrance, where a full-on winter rainstorm was in progress. You might say it was raining torrents in Torrance.

Glad you made it back safe.
Get ready for Thursday!
We’re all unpacked and battened down for the next wave of rain. We had some rain in AZ, but nothing like what was reported here in the southland.
All that green sure is nice at this time of year – rain or not.
On our drive home, we saw a lot of snow in them thar hills that weren’t obscured by clouds. Like someone on one of the blogs said recently, “Snow is for visiting, not living in.”
