Could be a really big bottle of sparkling wine – or, it could be a champagne-colored round of .357 magnum ammo in the cylinder of a S&W 686 revolver – your choice.
We watched some of the proceedings at the NRA Convention in Louisville last night and today and really look forward to next year when the convention goes west – we plan to attend that one.
I have to guess that your .357 rounds were handlooads because I’ve never seen Speer cartridges sold over the counter, loaded. And your dumpster divers would like mine, too. I belong to Desert Marksmen and when I go to our range in the Angeles NF, I usually take about as many shooting irons as you did. I used to be a sharpshooter for the dept of Agriculture, although the majority of the 60-70,000 rounds I capped were with a shotgun, a 12 ga 870 Wingmaster. Can you imagine getting paid to shoot ducks on golf courses? It was nice, very nice.
Wishing you still winds.
Hey Bill,
Nice to make your acquaintance – sounds like you have considerable experience. We’re still honing our skills, mostly at our indoor range, although we frequently speak of doing some outdoor shooting. Damsel just started a couple of years ago when we both bought the little S&W .357 revolvers.
The Speer Gold Dot personal protection are available in 20 per box at our range. These aren’t the Speer Lawman rounds which may be restricted. I’m not sure about that.
Thanks for stopping by.
