A friend of mind…he’s also a veterinarian…and I were chatting out on his back deck when a bright red cardinal alit upon a nearby branch, “A sign of God.” he said, “That’s a sign of God.” as if repeating the line made it empiracal.
Well I never heard this description before and it most likely beats the altenative, “A red bird.” but nevertheless a cardinal is definetly the work of God. Great picture!

Yep, they are certainly beautiful birds. This is one of Damsel’s photos from last year, but the Cardinal regularly visits our bird feeder this year.
