Beautiful. Made my day!
Thank you. Enjoy!
Butterflies, and moths, have some of the most intriguing color schemes in all of nature’s bounty. This one is no exception. Thanks for the shot.
I forgot to say, they definitely look hand painted, so much so that it gives one pause to wonder – who is the painter.
God. Gia. The Great Spegghetti Monster? Nature is great.
I have a huge lantana bush in the back corner of my yard…it attracks lots of butterflies similar to the one you show…
I don’t have any recent pictures of the lantana but you can see it around the 1:16 marker in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prb9ilLGS7s
I might point out that the lantana bush is bigger now than it was then…I take a lot of the dead-wood out after the plant goes in for the winter…this particulr lantana grows quite high…over 6 or 8 feet whereas I have some smaller ones in other locations that have never gotten over 18 inches.
