Damsel took this photo from the hilltop a couple of blocks up the road. It’s a view of the Hassayampa Valley to the northeast and the mountains beyond. The Hassayampa River originates in the mountains and flows underground for miles before flowing on the surface through this area.
I cropped Damsel’s photo down to create this panoramic image. Click on the image to view the full-sized panorama.
Very pretty!
What’s the cluster of buildings over on the right side?
That group of buildings is an apartment complex over on US 93 – furnished & unfurnished one and two bedroom units. We stayed in the Super 8 down the street while the house was being built.
OK, it kind of had that “apartment complex” look to it, but I thought you were in a 100% SFR area.
Arrr! ‘Tis jealous, I be, matey!
I dunno, Crotalus – the Coachella Valley gets some pretty spectacular views (except for the Banning Pass area and all those ugly wind turbines).
The area has a couple of apartment complexes but those are at the edge of town, DrJim. Other than businesses, most parcels are SFR.
