Tonight, we’re back in Stormy Southern California to attend to some business and appointments here this week. As we were leaving the Arizona Outback headed for Interstate 10, I took this photo of three saguaros on a hillside with some early spring wildflowers in the foreground. Click on the image to enlarge.
It’s “The Three Amigos”!
You guys be careful towing your car back. It’s gonna be nasty here for the next few days.
Thanks Dr Jim. We’ll Try.
A belated welcome to Arizona. I lived in Wickenburg for the better part of three months back in 2008 while I did a project at the Bagdad copper mine about an hour’s commute away. Nice little town, and conveniently close to the Phoenix metro area. VERY conveniently close to the Ben Avery public shooting range (about 45 minutes IIRC.)
Damsel and I have passed Ben Avery several times during our trips into the Phoenix metro area and to Cave Creek, etc. We are going to stop there one of these times and do some target practice.
We also joined the Wickenburg Sportsmen’s Club and will be shooting and taking lessons there for the Arizona CCW and maybe some trap and skeet shooting. We have been really busy with getting the new home furnished and such.
Thanks for the welcome. Damsel is an AZ native and I’m feeling mightily at home there too.
