The final inspection is now complete on our new Arizona home. The contractor poured the concrete for the driveway yesterday and we had the first bed delivered to one of the little bedrooms. Things are moving right along.
The outdoor sconces are all installed and they are so beautiful! I took a picture of one of them on the shady side of the house with the light turned on and Bob doctored the resulting photo to simulate twilight. This is how they should look when the sun goes down. Click on the image to enlarge.
That’s really pretty.
I can just imagine you and Damsel, sitting out on the patio, just at dusk, sippin’ a couple of cool ones in the Arizona evening!
Yep – and thanks to the non-light pollution looking through the telescope at a distant nebula or galaxy. We can hardly wait!
Congratulations. The light fixtures are beautiful. I’d love to have something like that out front.
Enjoy the new home.
Hi Brigid,
Damsel picked out the design, the finish and the mica filter for the sconces. She also got a matching address plate for the house and a Kokopeli doorbell button.
Damsel is busy picking out furnishings for the new place. She already has one bed and a couple of chairs in the house, so we can start to occupy in a week or so.
Thanks!
