Mr. Y Park, of New Zealand, makes some of the most amazing, meticulous models I have ever seen. Just look at these beauties – the controls work – you just need a pair of TWEEZERS and you’re in business.

I have personally worked on both of these aircraft, flown in one (the Corsair) and am absolutely dumbfounded by the precise replication I see in the pictures at the forum where this got posted.
Please, PLEASE go see the amazing details!
That’s just stunning. I used to be in the IPMS, and I’ve built a couple of award-winning models, but not from scratch. The closest thing to these I’ve ever seen was at the now defunct Paul Freiler’s Historical Models. He built an extremely detailed model of the Northrup YB-49 Flying Wing, but it was all plastic.
These are flat-out AMAZING!
That is amazing.
He must be single or she’s buried in the basement.
Wow, it’s truly astonishing!
And double way-cool to have flown in a Corsair!! 🙂
The ride in the Corsair took place about thirty years ago. I ferried the owner to another airport where he was having some work done on the plane. I asked if I could get a ride around the patch before dead-heading the other plane home.
It was way, way cool . . . 😉
