This is not a castle and nobody named Montezuma ever lived there. Regardless, this ruin built and inhabited by the ancient Sinagua, is an interesting place to visit near Camp Verde, AZ

I’m enjoying the trip…is there a rest room up ahead?
Yep – take the interstate to exit 241 and turn south – go 14 miles and there is a little wooden building on the side of the road. Bring your own TP.
I visited ruins in both AZ and NM, and all I can say is if they let me live there when i retire I would gladly do so. far from the crowds, beautiful scenery, fresh air, fairly moderate climate, maybe no toilet paper, but I could live without it somehow.
I agree with retiring there. We should be able to do it in about a year. Still researching the housing and infrastructure issues for several locations. We can hardly wait.
