My lady and I were watching an early (1971) Clint Eastwood movie, “Play Misty For Me” that was filmed in Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. We got a real kick out of looking up some of the site locations that we recognized from our trip to Monterey last month. The Sardine Factory restaurant is still there on the corner of Prescott and Wave. We didn’t eat there as I am still under a psychiatrist’s care because of the sardine sammiches my mother made for my lunch when I was a child.
We ought to add ‘Play Misty’ to our DVD collection. Looking at the landmarks would be fun, except for the sardine sammich part.
