We didn&#8217;t have much to blog about since there were no cameras allowed in the show. But it was a lot of fun and we plan on going to the next one in February. <\/p>\n<p>I did take a picture of this nice flower in the garden out front yesterday, so I&#8217;ll put it up here and tell you a few words about it. <\/p>\n<p>Cascading down from a stalk extending out of a low cabbage-like succulent, these petite red flowers attract late-autumn hummingbirds and look very pretty in the flowerbed. Each little bell is about 3\/4 inch (2 cm) long and the stalks are about 3 feet (1 m) in length.<\/p>\n<p>These have been blooming every November for several years now; <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/?p=151\">click here<\/a> to see a close-up photo I took a year ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We spent most of the day today attending a gun show in nearby Orange County at the fair grounds.
