In other words, if the people he looked at were black, he would feel anxiety or fear.<\/p>\n<p>Now, this \u2013 there\u2019s nobody in his right mind who\u2019s going to say that Jesse Jackson is a racist, [an] anti-black racist. He\u2019s not. <\/p>\n<p>. . . <\/p>\n<p>So [Williams] makes a statement that\u2019s perfectly parallel with what Jackson said. Now, you explain to me why nobody would attribute hostility, bigotry, or racism in the Jackson statement, and yet NPR attributes it to the Juan Williams statement \u2014 and not only attributes it but does it with such certainty that it dismisses him without even a hearing.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d like to hear one executive at NPR defend that. If not, this is not just a case of political correctness. It\u2019s a case of intellectual cowardice.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Amen!<\/p>\n<p>Time to <strong>DEFUND<\/strong> NPR and PBS.
