We took a walk through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanpedrochamber.com\/champint\/portcall.htm\">Ports O&#8217; Call Village<\/a> &#8211; a touristy collection of shops and restaurants along the waterfront of the main channel of the Port of Los Angeles. Nearby are other attractions such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamaritimemuseum.org\/\">Los Angeles Maritime Museum<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beachcalifornia.com\/spmemory.html\">Merchant Marine Memorial<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lanevictory.org\/\">S.S. Lane Victory<\/a>,  the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabrilloaq.org\/\">Cabrillo Aquarium<\/a> and my favorite, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.railwaypreservation.com\/page8.html\">Red Car<\/a>.  Actually there are a couple of Red Cars &#8211; restored from early-twentieth century electric streetcars that ran throughout the Los Angeles area.
