{"id":3144,"date":"2009-11-23T16:42:20","date_gmt":"2009-11-24T00:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2009\/11\/23\/greenbats-exposed\/"},"modified":"2009-11-23T16:42:20","modified_gmt":"2009-11-24T00:42:20","slug":"greenbats-exposed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2009\/11\/23\/greenbats-exposed\/","title":{"rendered":"Greenbats Exposed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"right\"><script src=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/video\/greenbat.php\"><\/script><\/span>The blogosphere, (but not the major media) is <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2009\/11\/23\/the-crutape-letters%C2%AE-an-alternate-explanation\/\">buzzing with news of the newly-exposed climate fraud<\/a>. <strong>Cybertons<\/strong> (I just made that word up &#8211; there are tons of it but all in cyberspace) of emails and other data reveal the alarmists for what they are: <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2006\/07\/03\/the-greenbat-epidemic\/\">GREENBATS<\/a>! <\/p>\n<p>You can depend, however, on politicians and the doomsayers to try and shoot the messenger by the usual attempts to discredit the data as being contrived and\/or make disingenuous accusations against &#8220;the deniers.&#8221; The general tactic of the left is to make ad-hominem attacks on truth-tellers when they are unable to refute the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Remember the conclusions we came to when evaluating some <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2006\/08\/23\/correlating-sunspots-to-global-climate\/\">actual science<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The media will print or broadcast sensationalized headlines to sell copy regardless of scientific value<\/li>\n<li>The media will print or broadcast manipulated science with half-truths and invalid conclusions to damage politicians with whom they do not agree<\/li>\n<li>Politicians seize on these unverified claims in order to blame their opponents<\/li>\n<li>Uneducated\/uninformed people are as gullible as ever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can add the following to the above: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unscrupulous profiteers will attempt to conceal the truth about the climate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We see this principle at work at the <strong>University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit<\/strong> as they generate their &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2009\/01\/28\/fiction-science\/\">Fiction Science<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>By the way, head Greenbat <strong>Al Gore<\/strong> demonstrated his complete ignorance of science (or did he lie?) when he claimed the interior temperature of the Earth to be &#8220;millions of degrees.&#8221; That would be &#8220;Thousands of degrees,&#8221; you moron.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The blogosphere, (but not the major media) is buzzing with news of the newly-exposed climate fraud.
