{"id":2125,"date":"2008-07-26T19:05:01","date_gmt":"2008-07-27T02:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2008\/07\/26\/london-bridge\/"},"modified":"2008-07-26T19:05:02","modified_gmt":"2008-07-27T02:05:02","slug":"london-bridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2008\/07\/26\/london-bridge\/","title":{"rendered":"London Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This morning we awakened in Lake Havasu City, AZ, home to the reconstructed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roadsideamerica.com\/tip\/2767\">London Bridge<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robert_McCulloch\">Robert McCulloch<\/a>, of McCulloch Motors, Inc., imported the famous bridge and reconstructed it, block by block, to render the bridge as it is seen today. The bridge spans a canal cut between two inlets on Lake Havasu, created by the construction of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desertusa.com\/colorado\/parker_dam\/du_parkerdam.html\">Parker Dam<\/a>, located 30 miles downstream.<\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/capnbob.us\/graphics\/imageview.php?image=http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/london-bridge.jpg' title='London Bridge'><img src='http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/london-bridge.jpg' alt='London Bridge' width='540' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As usual, you can click on the picture for the full sizification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning we awakened in Lake Havasu City, AZ, home to the reconstructed London Bridge.
