Today is the first feast in celebration of the Celtic Cross-Quarter day of <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2021\/05\/05\/beltane-a-celtic-cross-quarter\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Beltane<\/a>, or, the beginning of the summer season. I will post about the other feast we celebrate this weekend tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>The (clickable) image above is a scene generated by Microsoft&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/copilot.microsoft.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Copilot<\/a> AI image creator. I suggested a pastoral Irish Festival scene and this is what it came up with. I overlaid the Beltane text using an old 3D graphics program by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xara.com\/us\/products\/xara3d\/features\/#!\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Xara<\/a>. The original AI-generated image without the overly can be seen <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/graphics\/imageview.php?image=http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/irish-pastoral-feast.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our feast today consisted of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/food.vernabob.com\/2024\/05\/04\/beltane-guinness-meat-pie\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Guinness Meat Stew<\/a>&#8221; from a recipe the Damsel found on-line.
