I used my new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usa.canon.com\/consumer\/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&#038;fcategoryid=145&#038;modelid=14117\">Canon A710 PowerShot<\/a> camera to capture some video of what we saw. <\/p>\n<p>The video starts with Damsel pulling out of the neighborhood (she was going to pick me up after I took my wheels in for maintenance). We stopped at <a href=\"http:\/\/capnbob.us\/blog\/2006\/07\/17\/interpretive-center\/\">Point Vicente<\/a> to check out the surf and wind. I panned across the cove to capture a video of the restless sea. We then headed down toward <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pvplc.org\/land\/portuguesebend\/\">Portuguese Bend<\/a> where the roadway is under constant repair since that entire part of the peninsula is literally <a href=\"http:\/\/seis.natsci.csulb.edu\/VIRTUAL_FIELD\/Palos_Verdes\/pvportuguese.htm\">sliding into the sea<\/a>. I made an attempt to record the semi-rough ride over the sliding segment of Palos Verdes Drive South. We then fade to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trumpuniversity.com\/blog\/index.cfm?blogpost_id=690\">Donald Trump&#8217;s disputed flagpole<\/a> where the wind is briskly rippling Old Glory with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecatalina.com\/\">Catalina Island<\/a> seen through the haze across the channel. <\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Click <b>&gt;<\/b> to play the video.
