It's the Feds that are ripping EVERYONE off. The reality is that businesses like DirecTV are suffering from the result of Federal deficits and the lack of non-government money in the system. If you're pissed about Versus, get in touch with Dish Network or Comcast. Since they monopolize Versus and overcharge DirecTV by 20 percent. They drop Versus and then a couple months later increase their rates 6.5%. They said they were paying more to Versus than any other subscriber and that it was very expensive. They drop this very expensive channel and then increase out rates to make up for it. These guys are ripping us off. We need some federal regulation of their rates.
